Swimming Underwater in Oil Paint

After a break from oil painting for some time, I decided to relaunch my practice with these underwater self portraits. It seemed fitting, since I felt a bit underwater in my getting back up to speed. The work is based off frames of a GoPro video taken in a swimming pool. The first three in a larger series being produced are now in the Recent Work section at www.alexandereiserloh.com/recent-work.
